End Child Trafficking & Exploitation Now
Mission Statement:
Moms Resist exists to protect our most vulnerable — children — and the time to act is now. Every moment we wait puts them at risk.
Through truth, evidence-based education, and collective action, we mobilize communities, equip everyday people with practical tools, and demand accountability from the systems meant to keep children safe. We refuse complacency. We refuse to stay silent. Together, we are driving immediate, measurable change so exploitation has nowhere to hide and every child can grow up in safety and dignity.
We demand that those who commit crimes against children face the harshest penalties available under the law and that policies prioritize community safety so dangerous offenders are not prematurely returned to environments where children are at risk.
We have had enough. We are mothers, fathers, and everyday citizens who are ready to show up — peacefully, lawfully, and relentlessly — to protect our children
The fact that stronger protections must still be fought for is an outrage. But we will not be ignored. We will continue to raise our voices in town halls, in our communities, and in the public square until meaningful change is achieved and every child is free to grow up in safety and dignity.
Sentencing must change!
Key Objectives
- Review of the Amber Alert system’s strict criteria.
- Call to amend Canadian laws to publicly identify child predators so that public has access to the National Sex Offender Registry to enhance community safety.
- Put child predators behind bars: Strengthen mandatory minimum penalties of imprisonment for predators who offend (including possession of child sexual abuse and exploitation material), and keep them imprisoned without bail to protect communities and prevent further public harm.
- Human trafficking charges should be applied to all adult predators found with our missing children.
- Demand criminal background checks for all teachers and staff at private schools.
